A defining year ahead for Being Foundation

As Being Foundation looks ahead to 2026, we do so with renewed energy, clarity of purpose and a shared ambition to create an even greater impact across the communities and people we support.

The year ahead represents an important chapter in the Foundation’s journey. Our Trustees are united behind a clear strategic vision centred around our core purpose; empowering humanity for the whole of life’s journey, and ensuring that every initiative we support creates meaningful, lasting and generational impact.

Throughout 2026, Being Foundation will be entering a major fundraising and partnership phase, designed to help us expand our reach, strengthen our programmes and support even more individuals and families facing challenge, adversity or disadvantage.

One of our key ambitions for the year is to once again facilitate the life-changing ski experience for children and young people living with severe burn injuries. The impact of this initiative extends far beyond the slopes. It provides confidence, independence, friendship, resilience and unforgettable memories for young people who have already overcome significant challenges in life. Seeing the transformation in confidence and self-belief created through this experience continues to inspire everyone involved.

Alongside this, the Foundation is actively developing and supporting further wellbeing, mental health, sensory support and community-based initiatives that align closely with our values of empowerment, inclusivity, integrity and legacy.

We believe strongly that long-term positive change happens when people, businesses, charities and communities come together with a shared sense of purpose. That spirit of collaboration will sit at the heart of our plans for the year ahead.

As we continue to grow, our commitment remains simple: to support people with compassion, dignity and opportunity, while building initiatives that create a positive impact not just today, but for generations to come.
